Patsy McArthur
Patsy McArthur was born in 1976 in Glasgow and trained at Grays School of Art (Aberdeen) from 1994-1998. She completed her Masters in Barcelona in 2001 in conjunction with Winchester School of Art and is one of the group of artists that has emerged from Scotland’s booming contemporary arts scene. Her work explores the human figure and is underpinned by outstanding draughtsmanship. She attempts to evoke “a sense of struggle, our search for something more”.
McArthur has won many awards including The Paisley Art Institute Award (2002) and has been exhibited in Scotland and London since graduating in the late 1990’s.
Flying Colours Gallery are delighted to be showing new work by Patsy McArthur in a Solo Exhibition in February 2010.
Works range in price from £1,500- £4,000
