Ethel Walker Solo Exhibition at Edinburgh International Festival - 17 - 28 Aug 2010
Having originated in Edinburgh and been based there for ten years Flying Colours Gallery returns annually to the city with a special exhibition during the Edinburgh International Festival, itself in its seventh decade.
In 2010 it is the turn of the successful and skilled Ethel Walker whose landscapes, seascapes and still life subjects always impress. This will be her sixth Solo Exhibition with us and celebrates 21 years of collaboration.
20/21 British Art Fair - 15 - 19 Sep 2010
The 20/21 British Art Fair, now in its 23rd year, is the only UK fair specialising exclusively in modern and contemporary British art and thereby offers an enormous variety of art under one roof and also an opportunity to tap into the expertise of 60 leading dealers. Flying Colours Gallery has participated in this fair for the last 7 years and will this year be showing a group of our artists who can hold their own alongside British greats such as Hockney, Hitchens and Hepworth.

Stephen Mangan Solo Exhibition - 01 - 15 Oct 2010
Stephen Mangan’s unique perspective on the world focuses on subjects close to home in east-coast Scotland, the beach, the races, the station and the harbour. Mangan’s career goes from strength to strength and his work is now in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
The exhibition in October is eagerly awaited by his many collectors and fans world-wide and will be his 8th with Flying Colours Gallery.
ArtLondon - 07 - 11 Oct 2010
Since its foundation in 1999, Art London has endeavoured to marry “serious” art with a welcoming and friendly approach. The fair can be found in a huge and airy temporary structure in the Royal Hospital Grounds, Chelsea. It has always had a cosmopolitan flavour, and this year is no exception; art from China, India, Japan and Vietnam will sit alongside a contingent of Aboriginal art and a host of European galleries. Flying Colours Gallery has participated since the outset and in this 12th year we are looking forward to showcasing artists such as Claire Harrigan and Charles Simpson.

Francis Farmar Solo Exhibition - 20 Oct - 05 Nov 2010
After his highly successful solo show in 2008, we are delighted to be exhibiting new work by Francis Farmar in the autumn. His work has its own distinctive and charming style and his panoramic views are much sought after by collectors world-wide. For this exhibition, Farmar will concentrate on paintings of both London subjects and also the West Country.
Anthony Scullion RGI Solo Exhibition - 18 Nov - 03 Dec 2010
Anthony Scullion is a highly-rated contemporary Scottish artist who is able to convey intense emotion through his figurative works. He has a unique vision and paints with a light rhythmic touch. Scullion allows space around his subjects giving a special feel and importance to the figure itself. Following much success here over 11 years of exhibiting, we are looking forward to showing new work by Anthony Scullion in his 5th solo exhibition at Flying Colours Gallery.
