After showing Pam Hawkes’s work successfully at various London art fairs in 2009, we are delighted to be holding a solo exhibition of her work this year. The figurative paintings encompass a narrative angle and she is greatly influenced by religious iconography. Her unusual combination of mixed media (often working in wax and copper leaf as well as traditional oil paint) is key to the originality and success of her paintings.
